Why choose Lodgepole Pine? |
Lodgepole Pine is ideal for Wood Siding because it has intergrown tight knots that do not shrink or pop out. Also the knots are non-resinous thus will not bleed resins through the paint coating. Lodgepole Pine readily accepts all types of paints and stains. Lodgepole Pine does not contain resins or tannins so you do not get extractive bleeding through the paint coating. Back to Top |

Do we use a stain or paint? |
We use Cape Cod Siding Factory Acrylic Finish which is actually a flat acrylic paint and not a stain. Cape Cod Finished Wood Siding comes pre painted in the color of your choice with many trim items to choose from and is basically made to order. In terms of delivery time we have our own trucks which deliver every two weeks in Central Canada, and down the Eastern Seaboard as far as South Carolina. Back to Top |
